Dell’Oro says enterprise Wi-Fi market is growing again
According to Dell’Oro’s latest Wireless LAN Quarterly report, the enterprise WLAN (Wi-Fi) market is back to double-digit growth year-on-year for first quarter 2025. Dell’Oro cites 11% growth for the period, which is the first where all major vendors have been selling Wi-Fi 7-based equipment, Dell’Oro says. Interestingly, CommScope (RUCKUS), Ubiquiti, and Extreme grew faster than other vendors while the selling price of Wi-Fi 7 APs remained lower than comparable Wi-Fi 6E units. The Department of Justice’s law suit against HPE’s Juniper acquisition begins July 9th, Dell’Oro says.

The venue is still to be completed but will eventually host NBA’s Washington Wizards, NHL’s Washington Capitals, and WNBA’s Washington Mystics. Cisco says the arena will be one of the first sports venues in the world to deploy Cisco Wi-Fi 7 and will use Cisco Spaces for “real-time information and visualisations to help analyze traffic flows and track the location of people and devices.”
