Home Wi-Fi quality of experience – QoE – is critical for the success and growth of the home broadband service provider business. Now RouteThis and Wi-Fi NOW are teaming up to promote intelligent, software-based QoE management for ISPs and smart home brands. RouteThis is already serving household-name ISPs with their Wi-Fi QoE management, helping businesses to drive up market share and reduce costs, the company says.
Wi-Fi services are present in the vast majority of homes around the world – but there are a number of factors that impact the quality of the home Wi-Fi experience. To promote the case for effective tools empowering ISPs to deliver great Wi-Fi quality to every subscriber while reducing costs, Canada-based RouteThis and Wi-Fi NOW are now teaming up. In the coming year RouteThis and Wi-Fi NOW will be offering business-critical information and advice on how to deliver great Wi-Fi QoE.
“Wi-Fi connectivity issues have become a prominent problem for smart home and telco businesses and we are excited to share more about our unique approach to solving these issues,” says Jason Moore, Co-founder and CEO of RouteThis. “At RouteThis, we understand the impact that the quality of WiFi experience has on the overall customer experience and ultimately how that affects business growth and market share,” he says.

“That is why we set out to create a platform that overcomes the barriers of traditional Wi-Fi support and empowers businesses to solve Wi-Fi issues quickly and effectively in order to meet today’s consumer expectations and deliver customer experiences that attract and retain loyal customers. We’re excited to partner with Wi-Fi NOW to share our story, and hopefully benefit even more ISPs and smart home brands as a result,” says Jason Moore.
RouteThis provides a sophisticated Wi-Fi diagnostics tool and dashboard platform to assist both ISP agents and subscribers to resolve connectivity and quality issues in the home. The result: Improved service at a lower cost with a reduced number of on-site support calls from technicians and greater satisfaction among subscribers, the company says.
“Solutions to effectively and simply manage the Wi-Fi experience in the home are in short supply, and we’re delighted to be working with RouteThis to spread the word about their solutions and impressive work with ISPs. We look forward to sharing lots more information on how to get Wi-Fi QoE right starting now but also all through the year,” says Claus Hetting, Wi-Fi NOW Chairman & CEO.
