For three years Patrick led the Product Management team at Comcast responsible for all the residential broadband CPE. He and his team defined and drove the development and launch of highly capable and feature rich Wi-Fi gateways for the Comcast DOCSIS and EPON residential markets as well as a family of Wi-Fi mesh extenders, an outdoor Wi-Fi gateway and an outdoor/hardened cable modem. He recently transitioned into a newly created role to increase the value of the Comcast Xfinity Wi-Fi network of over 20 million Wi-Fi hotspots.
Prior to Comcast, Patrick held Marketing and Product Management positions in communications semiconductor companies including MaxLinear, RF Magic and Qualcomm working on products for and driving business in the cable, satellite and mobile wireless markets. Before that he served as a US Navy Officer in the Submarine Force with assignments on nuclear powered fast attack submarines.
Patrick holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, an MS in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
