Andrea Peiro is Vice President of Product Strategy and Development for Comcast, leading its Advanced Technologies and Products Group. He has been at the forefront of the virtualization of networking for more than ten years, first at Xerox PARC, then as co-founder and CTO of PowerCloud Systems, and after its acquisition, at Comcast, transforming the way advanced data services are developed and delivered to businesses and consumers via the cloud.
At Comcast, Andrea led the vision and development of the company’s next-gen cloud-based broadband, which is being released to more than 15 million households in 2017, creating the connectivity foundation for Comcast’s Digital Home. In his newly appointed role as head of the Advanced Technologies and Products Group, Andrea is focusing on creating a task-force-oriented approach to the rapid development of innovative products and services that extend and complement the Xfinity portfolio.
