Avi Bhagtani comes with extensive experience in the networking and Wi-Fi industry, where he has held multiple positions as a visionary leader driving product and engineering organizations.
At Broadcom, Avi is responsible for driving the Enterprise Wi-Fi business for the North America and EMEA markets, where he oversees the development and adoption of next-generation Wi-Fi and IOT technologies. Prior to Broadcom, Avi was worldwide head of Product Management at Meru Networks leading to their acquisition by Fortinet, driving their Controller Wi-Fi, Cloud and SDN initiatives. Earlier in his career, he also has had multiple roles driving engineering and services organizations for cloud and data center product lines.
Avi has been a pioneer in driving multiple award winning products to market, including the world’s first SDN Wi-Fi controller. He is a technology evangelist and actively participates in industry events, technology field days, hackathons and trade shows.
Avi holds a Bachelor or Engineering degree from University of Mumbai; a Masters in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a M.B.A from University of North Carolina (Kenan Flagler School of Business)
