Long is the Corporate Senior Vice President and General Manager of Universal Connectivity Business Unit at Unisoc Inc. China, where he oversees the Engineering R&D of the Wireless Connectivity chipset , Product roadmap and strategy, Business Development.
Prior to Unisoc, he has held position as the Sr. Director of Engineering at Qualcomm Technologies Inc., California where he led a multi-national engineering team to design and develop Qualcomm’s first 2×2 IEEE 802.11AC solution and, later, enabled Qualcomm to make a foray into Internet of Things (IoT) market by leading the engineering effort for its first ever 1×1 IEEE 802.11AC chipset which was heavily optimized for power consumption.
