Dr. Chen is currently the head of IoT research in Midea Group, focusing on integration and standardization of new IoT connectivity techniques into smart appliances and smart home systems.
Dr. Chen has 16 years’ broad wireless communication R&D experiences in both the institute and the industries, including Airbus Germany and Ruijie Networks. The ICT innovation research team of Ruijie was built by Dr. Chen and under his leadership.
Chen received his undergraduate degree from Tsinghua University in China and both master and doctorate degrees from Technical University of Hamburg in Germany.
