Tony Batalla serves as the Head of Information Technology for the City of San Leandro, CA.
Since his appointment in February 2014, he has helped launch a 10-gigabit internet connection at City Hall and a free, public Wi-Fi system utilizing the City’s fiber optics network. He is also the Co-Chair of the Wireless SuperCluster in NIST’s Global City Teams Challenge program.
Tony Batalla acts as the senior advisor to the City Council on technology policy. He holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson and a BS from the University of San Francisco.
