Dr. Cheng Chen is currently a Software Research Engineer/Scientist at Intel’s Client Computing Group. He leads the Wi-Fi Sensing standards at Intel. Cheng has been an active contributor to multiple standards task groups within IEEE 802.11, including 802.11ay (Next-generation 60 GHz Wi-Fi), 802.11be (Extremely High Throughput Wi-Fi), and most recently, 802.11bf that defines WLAN sensing. He is also the Technical Editor for the Wi-Fi 7 Technical Task Group at the Wi-Fi Alliance. He received the Ph.D. degree from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL in 2016.
