Our judges are independent
The Wi-Fi NOW team is managing and coordinating the awards process, but we are not actively involved in judging. This is because we strongly believe that any sponsorship relation between WiFi NOW and a particular nominee would compromise the fair judging ability of our team members.
Instead we have appointed an independent panel of distinguished judges whom we know we can trust. We collect entry fees and award sponsorships to fund the award management process including our media & PR work and the awards part of WiFi NOW event program. Our judges are also under very strict instructions to recuse themselves of any judging for which they would have conflicts of interest.
