Dr. Hisham Elshaer is Head of B2B Business Development for Amazon’s Project Kuiper in the Middle East and North Africa, leading strategy and partnerships with telcos, satcos, and enterprises to expand next-generation satellite connectivity across the region. He brings over 20 years of global experience at Amazon Web Services, Vodafone Group, Ericsson, and Strategy& (PwC), with deep expertise in cloud, telecom, digital transformation, and 5G/LEO satellite technologies. Hisham holds a PhD in Wireless Telecommunications from King’s College London and is the author of multiple academic publications and patents.
