Fernanda Sánchez is Director of Technical Analysis and Orbital Resources at the Federal Institute of Telecommunications in Mexico (IFT), she has been working for the IFT over seven years which four of them been developing spectrum regulatory framework and rebanding strategies for terrestrial services such as 600 MHz and 3.5 GHz.
Regard spectrum planning she is being participating and following WRC agenda items and international positions for key strategies including spectrum policies for the 6 GHz band, aimed to Mexico’s regulatory framework best interests.
She is part of the IFT Technical Committee in Matters of Radioelectric Spectrum as the focal point of Working Group of Fixed and Land Mobile Services. She is also participating as vice-coordinator of Sub Working Group 4: Working Group Relative to CITEL’s Preparation for World Radiocommunication Conferences for Satellite Issues.
Fernanda holds an electronics engineer degree and is currently studying a master degree as public manager at the National Institute of Public Administration.
