Frank Lai is a global telecommunications and technology executive. He has launched and built companies in the Wi-Fi, Call Center, IT Services, and System Integrator sectors and participated in five significant M+A transactions during his tenure with these organizations. He has also been part of multiple significant NGO projects in developing countries that supported job training and online education.
Currently, Lai leads the OpenWiFi division of Actiontec, one of the leading global suppliers of connectivity devices. During his time with Actiontec, it has become an active member of the OpenWiFi community and helped to deploy the first OpenWiFi networks in the APAC region with key local providers and partners.
Lai graduated from Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto. He also studied computer science at Concordia University and computer programming at McGill University.
