Jerome Henry is a Distinguished Engineer in the Office of the Wireless CTO group at Cisco Systems. He is a Certified Wireless Networking Expert (CWNE No. 45) and Wireless CCIE (No. 24750), and has authored multiple books and video courses focusing on wireless technologies, ranging from introductory to expert levels. Jerome has been a member of the IEEE since 2006, and was elevated to Senior Member in 2013. He has contributed to the development of multiple amendments, has been in leadership positions of several Task Groups, and received an award for his contributions to the 802.11-2020 revision of the standard. Jerome has authored multiple research papers in the wireless technology field, and participates in multiple Wi-Fi Alliance working groups, with a strong focus on wireless efficiency, IoT, and low power applications. As an educator, he has more than 10,000 hours of experience in the classroom, and was awarded the IT Training Award Best Instructor silver medal. He is based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.
