Jonathan is the Location Connectivity Standards lead in Intel’s Next Generation and Standards group. He chaired the recently published IEEE 802.11az – 2022 Next Generation Positioning amendment standard and is chairing the IEEE 802.11 TGbk 320MHz Positioning sub-committee.
Jonathan led the cross-industry discussion and collaboration forum to identify prospects for Wi-Fi-based technology and made a substantial technical contribution resulting in the REVmc FTM protocol and the Wi-Fi Location CertificationTM. He has over 20 years of industry experience in developing and standardizing digital wireless communication systems and holds over 100 patents in those fields.
