Mr. Sebastiano Bertani studied Telecommunication Engineering (MD) at Politecnico di Milano and at UPC Universitad Politecnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, and has an MBA from MIP Business School.
At the age of 14 he founded Sky-Net s.r.l., an internet advertising start-up that reached 1M daily impressions in 2000. Later, he worked at Selta Telecommunications, Accenture, and Fluidmesh Networks (acquired by Cisco). In 2010 he founded Tanaza S.p.A., and currently serves as its Chief Executive Officer.
As representative of the European Digital SME Alliance and Small Business Standard organization, Sebastiano participates in the European Commission’s (EC) Expert Groups related to the Radio Equipment Directive (EG RED) and in the ETSI Reconfigurable Radio Systems (RRS) group, focusing on the topics of software/hardware disaggregation and transition to a horizontal market.
