Shadi Hawawini

Shadi Hawawini is Director of Ecosystem Development for Qorvo’s UWB and Matter solutions. He is responsible for defining and bringing new solutions and use cases to market that reduce friction when interacting with technology and has driven the adoption of UWB along with Wi-Fi 7. Prior to Qorvo, Mr. Hawawini was VP of Product Management and Customer Experience at Everactive. He utilized cloud-based analytics and insights from data acquired by proprietary wireless and battery-less sensors to help energy and manufacturing companies to meet their energy sustainability goals. Mr. Hawawini also worked at Qualcomm in System Architecture and Applications Engineering management, where he invented and brought to market fundamental technology that enabled charging over USB and ultra-fast battery charging over a standard USB cable (QuickCharge 2.0/ 3.0).
