Ted Schremp is the Founder, President and CEO of IQ Fiber, a residential fiber-to- the-home internet provider deploying a state-of-the-art broadband network in Northeast Florida. Founded in 2021, IQ Fiber offers consumers a modern, no- hassle choice in broadband service. The company is based in Jacksonville and is backed by SDC Capital Partners.
Schremp is a leading global telecommunications executive with more than 30 years of experience who has been on the forefront of the development of our connected world. His telecom career spans from the expansion and innovation of telecom services following deregulation to now deploying residential FTTH (fiber- to-the-home) in Florida’s largest city (by population) and the contiguous United States’ largest city (by land mass). He started his career with AT&T and later elevated to executive positions with some of the world’s most innovative communications companies.
Schremp was most recently the CMO of Web.com (now Newfold Digital) a global provider of cloud services for business which includes Network Solutions, Register.com and Web.com.
Before his work with Web.com, Schremp was CMO of TiVo, the world-renowned developer of the digital video recorder (DVR). He also served as CEO of the largest cable operator in Indonesia, First Media/LinkNet, where he deployed broadband to more than a half million homes in Jakarta, Indonesia. He was also EVP of marketing and operations for Charter Communications where he led the deployment of telecommunications to more than 11 million homes in the U.S.
Schremp earned an MBA at Penn State and earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and business at the University of Pittsburgh.
