Venkat Kalkunte is co-founder of Airfide networks. He serves as its President and CEO. He specializes is WIFI, HaLow, UWB, and 5GNR. He has engineered high precision localization products for enterprises using UWB, Millimeter wave operating over HaLow.
He is has engineered several 5GNR products including CPE gateways, mobile hotspots that combine 5G and WIFI.
He has over 90 US patents in WIFI and 5GNR and serves as CTO at a North American OEM where he is instrumental in bringing several 5G mobile devices to operators.
Under his guidance Airfide has built unique products that combine licensed and unlicensed bands.
