NetExperience is a software company, based in Ottawa, Canada that has developed a full WLAN management and controller solution for the Telecom Infra Project (TIP) OpenWiFi and OpenLAN initiatives. OpenWiFi / OpenLAN enables the deployment of disaggregated networks by using hardware running open-source software, from multiple low-cost vendors managed by a single cloud-based management system.
The solution has been deployed across the world with multiple large carriers and MSPs. It is a proven product for medium and large-scale Wi-Fi deployments where density, pro-active management and quality are needed, combined with an attractive total cost of ownership compared to traditional Wi-Fi vendors.
NetExperience is a contributor and maintainer of the TIP opensource software in addition to providing a full commercial WLAN controller. NetExperience supports Passpoint (Hotspot2.0) and the Wireless Broadband Alliance OpenRoaming framework.
