Many antennas can transmit RF signal significant distances, but the patent pending Apogee™ phased array antenna from Aura Wireless is the only one that enables very low power devices to connect back to the network at 1000 feet or more, eliminating the root problem of deploying large scale outdoor wireless networks.
Apogee™ actually improves the performance of wireless devices by significantly extending their range, enabling Enterprise to get the most out of their wireless investments while reducing wireless infrastructure and lowering cost.
Use cases are myriad: distribution centers, sea ports, railyards, parking lot pick up for retailers, amusement parks, connected agriculture to name just a few, all have in common the need for cost effective, truly large-scale WiFi coverage.
Apogee™ products are plug compatible with any access point using external RF ports.
We’re delighted that Wi-Fi antenna startup Aura Wireless has chosen to partner with us. Exciting times for outdoor Wi-Fi.
