Standard power Wi-Fi in the 6 GHz band is the next great leap forward in Wi-Fi performance and coverage – and to enable standard power, regulators require the use of Automatic Frequency Coordination, or AFC. AFC in turn requires that Wi-Fi access points are able to report their location.
