Ultra-wideband (UWB) technology is the perfect complement to Wi-Fi when it comes to determining device location with centimetre accuracy and a host of other applications, such as presence, gestures, and more. For example: Within enterprise networking, UWB provides accurate AP-to-AP auto-positioning, precise indoor navigation, as well as asset tracking. The device and network ecosystem is already in place and major enterprise Wi-Fi vendors – such as Cisco – are already incorporating UWB into their Wi-Fi AP solutions. But UWB is still new and relatively unknown to the Wi-Fi community, which is why this webinar is important.
In short: UWB represents a huge opportunity to add highly accurate location services to enterprise networks (Wi-Fi APs and other infrastructure).
