By Claus Hetting, WiFi NOW CEO & Chairman
After last week’s hugely successful Wi-Fi World Congress USA in Mountain View, we’re already on to our next major event: This November 17-19 we’re taking WWC to Dubai for the first time. Dubai has for a long time been the region’s (and perhaps the world’s?) leading business hub and now it’s time to expose the UAE to the united world of Wi-Fi. Get in touch with us now if you’re interested in a leading role.
The world of Wi-Fi never stands still – and at WiFi NOW, we’re already preparing for our next major WWC event. The glimmering metropolis of Dubai has for a long time been on our list of WWC destinations, and now we’re finally doing it: WWC Dubai will be held for the first time this November 17-19 at the Connect Conference Centre, only a few miles from Dubai Marina.
WWC Dubai will feature all the great learning and networking opportunities of any WWC event – but of course with a strong regional focus. In fact, I will shortly be leaving for Dubai to meet and invite local industry leaders to join us. Dubai and the region in general represents huge growth opportunities for the Wi-Fi industry, and we intend to facilitate exactly that by showcasing the best in Wi-Fi innovation.
We’re also excited to announce that we – for the third time following co-located events in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Geneva, Switzerland – will be co-locating the WWC with the Dynamic Spectrum Alliance (DSA) Global Summit. The DSA continues to work tirelessly with industry and regulatory bodies to secure more unlicensed spectrum for Wi-Fi, and we’re delighted to be supporting the DSA once again.
As always we’re looking for great Wi-Fi companies to partner with for WWC Dubai – including vendors, service providers, integrators, and many more. Also as always we’re offering keynote speaking slots, Q&A panels, exhibition spaces, branding opportunities, and of course delegate’s tickets. If you’re interested in making your presence felt in one of the world’s most exciting growth regions, contact us now.
And we will of course share more information as the plans proceed. For now, remember to mark your calendars for November 17-19 and make sure your sign up for receiving additional information on our event page here. To download our 2025 events primer go here.
