Technologies like Passpoint (and others) allow mobile subscribers to autoconnect to secure and fast Wi-Fi connectivity services. Other convergence technologies allow aggregation of mobile and cellular data streams or make use of huge home broadband Wi-Fi networks to serve subscribers better.
