Ask yourself: What are the most exciting and fastest-growing new technologies within Wi-Fi and related wireless industries? We think Wi-Fi HaLow and ultra-wideband will be the winners even in the short term. That’s why we’ve relaunched our website and services to reflect these two new focus areas. Here’s our vision and strategy for Wi-Fi HaLow and UWB. We look forward to supporting even more great clients.
It’s exciting times for the Wi-Fi industry with plenty of new innovation as well as growth opportunities – in particular within enterprise networks and IoT. On the enterprise side more and more ecosystem players are now supporting ultra-wideband for ultra-accurate location based services and tracking, while Wi-Fi HaLow is coming of age fast. It’s now time for us to ramp up our efforts to make sure these two technologies get all the support and recognition they deserve.
Ultra-wideband delivers location accuracy down to the centimetre-level and is perfectly suited for deployment alongside or integrated with enterprise Wi-Fi networks. We’re already covering UWB as part of our webinar series here and we expect UWB to become ubiquitous and deliver outstanding location services in coming years. We’re already working with many of our long-term clients – such as Qorvo, Cisco, Qualcomm, HPE Juniper, and others – to deliver the best insights and business-critical information on ultra-wideband to our subscriber base and beyond. Our new UWB page can be found here.
We’ve been singing the praises of Wi-Fi HaLow as part of our usual Wi-Fi coverage for a decade – but we now think Wi-Fi HaLow deserves additional attention. The IoT standard is growing quickly as the Wi-Fi HaLow ecosystem expands and we’re also very encouraged by the attendance and interest in our first ever Wi-Fi HaLow Global Summit in Mountain View earlier this year, which means we will certainly be conducting another in 2025. We’re ramping up our coverage and support of Wi-Fi HaLow with this dedicated page, a dedicated newsletter, webinars, and more.
If you are interested in partnering with us on UWB or Wi-Fi HaLow to receive unsurpassed coverage and promotion of your work in these areas – write to us now at [email protected]. We look forward to support you more and better in coming months and years.
/Claus.
