As the Wi-Fi industry races ahead with vastly improved technology and plenty of new spectrum, now is the perfect time to launch new, legacy-free, managed enterprise-class Wi-Fi services. World Cinema (WCI) is partnering with Wi-Fi NOW to advance the North American market for high-quality and high-performance ImpruviX-branded managed Wi-Fi services for communities and destination properties.
WCI and Wi-Fi NOW share a vision: That cutting-edge Wi-Fi-based services is a catalyst for ensuring the commercial success of communal living properties including hotels, student housing, senior living residences, luxury MDUs, and more. Serving guests better with smart home applications (IoT), virtualised gateways, and an always-on, simplified user experience for connecting and managing services are all parts of the ImpruviX connectivity vision.
“We’re delighted to be partnering with Wi-Fi NOW to build awareness about how great Wi-Fi technology can add immense value to the communal living experience. We believe our approach, which involves standardising on design and not on proprietary technology, will offer property owners and guests a wide range of benefits,” says Bob Grosz, Chief Commercial Officer, WCI.
In coming months and during 2021, WCI and Wi-Fi NOW will be showcasing advancements in managed Wi-Fi services that reflect the transformational capabilities of new Wi-Fi technology (as well as spectrum) coupled with WCI’s decades of operational experience within the hospitality industry.
“We’re right now experiencing a transformation towards a new kind of always-connected lifestyle that includes smart living, intelligent spaces, vastly improved personal connectivity, enterprise-class Wi-Fi for working from any location, and of course wireless access for entertainment everywhere. All this is driven by next generation Wi-Fi. We’re excited to be partnering with WCI who shares this vision with us,” says Claus Hetting, Wi-Fi NOW CEO & Chairman.
WCI has been serving the North America hotel industry for more than 40 years. The ImpruviX service – which was launched at the Virtual Wi-Fi World Congress last month – has already landed its first major client in the form of stayAPT Suites. For more about ImpruviX also read here.
