By Claus Hetting, WiFi NOW CEO & Chairman
We’re honoured and delighted to announce that we’ve signed up Extreme Networks, HPE, and Cisco as WiFi NOW Partners for the next 12 months. The agreements include continuous thought-leadership media coverage as well as participation in webinars and other online events. Cisco has extended its partnership with us for the fifth consecutive year. We believe the continued support of some of the world’s leading networking companies confirms WiFi NOW’s position as a go-to source for cutting-edge wireless news and analysis.
The three companies represent some of the biggest names in enterprise networking – and all three are investing heavily in the next generation of intelligent, AI-driven connectivity – as well as in expanding into non-connectivity services such as ultra-wideband, BLE, and sensing. We expect enterprise Wi-Fi in particular to be one of the most dynamic segments of the wireless industry over the coming year, as Wi-Fi 7 adoption accelerates and the industry begins looking ahead towards Wi-Fi 8.
Our partnership program is designed to give technology leaders a continuous platform for sharing expertise, discussing new technology, and engaging directly with the WiFi NOW community. – which today comprises thousands of influencers including close to 600 wireless CTOs. During the coming 12 months, Extreme Networks, HPE, and Cisco will contribute to WiFi NOW webinars, online forums, interviews, TECH WATCH programs, and other thought-leadership activities.
For WiFi NOW, long-term partnerships of this kind are also an important endorsement of what we have been building for more than a decade: An independent global media and events platform dedicated specifically to Wi-Fi and the technologies increasingly converging around it. We’re particularly proud that Cisco has chosen to extend its WiFi NOW partnership for the fifth consecutive year. At the same time, we’re delighted to welcome Extreme Networks and HPE into the program for 2026-2027.
We’re looking forward to another year of exploring where enterprise connectivity is heading – together with three of the companies helping to shape its future.
/Claus.
